Webbing Manufacturers

A variety of yarns are used as raw materials to make narrow fabrics or tubular fabrics. In the 1930s, ribbons were produced by hand in workshops, with cotton and linen yarns as raw materials. After the founding of New China, the raw materials used for weaving were gradually developed into nylon, nylon, polyester, polypropylene, spandex, viscose, etc. Three major types of technology were formed: weaving, knitting, and knitting, and the fabric structure was plain, twill, satin, jacquard, double-layer, multi-layer, tubular, and joint.
Webbing is divided into the following main categories according to its characteristics.
  A/Elastic belts: hook and loop/clip wire elastic/twill elastic/towel elastic/Newgate elastic/frame elastic/anti-slip elastic/jacquard elastic
B/Cord: round rubber cord/needle through, PP, low stretch, acrylic, cotton, hemp cord, etc.
C/knitted belts: due to the special structure, refers to the horizontal (dimensional) elastic, mainly for knitted belts with rolled edges
D/letter belts: polypropylene material, letters of the alphabet, bilateral letters, round ropes of letters of the alphabet, etc.
E/ Herringbone belts: transparent straps, yarn belts, thread belts
F/bag tapes: PP tapes, nylon wrap-around tapes, cotton webbing, rayon webbing, acrylic webbing, and jacquard webbing.
G/Velvet tape: elastic velvet tape, double-sided velvet tape
  H/various cotton edges, lace laces
T/Velvet ribbon: velvet ribbon made of velvet with a thin layer of wool inlaid on top of the ribbon
M/printed ribbons: various patterns on the top of the ribbons are made to order.
The above cost components of the ribbon are mainly raw materials and related processes, as well as a dyeing cost. Especially for small orders it is not cost-effective. The weaving cycle is generally long.

Industry Related Introduction

Simple science of Webbing
Webbing refers to a type of strong, flexible material that is often made from nylon or polyester. It is commonly used for a variety of applications, including camping gear, outdoor clothing, and military equipment. Webbing is also used in the manufacture of seat belts, safety harnesses, and other safety equipment.
Webbing refers to a strong and flexible material made from interlacing fibers, such as nylon or polyester, which is used in various applications, including:
Outdoor gear: Webbing is used in the production of backpacks, tent lines, and hammocks, to provide support and distribute weight evenly.
Safety equipment: Webbing is used in the manufacture of safety belts, harnesses, and slings, to ensure that workers are protected while performing tasks at height.
Textile industry: Webbing is used as an elastic band or trim in clothing, footwear, and upholstery, to provide support and adjustability.
Web design: In digital contexts, "webbing" refers to the design of interconnected pages or content on the World Wide Web, usually through links or hyperlinks.
The strength and elasticity of webbing comes from the interlocking of fibers, which are usually woven or braided in a specific pattern. The properties of webbing can be optimized for different applications by adjusting its composition, construction, and thickness.
How to maintain Webbing?
To maintain webbing, follow these steps:
Clean regularly: Use a mild soap and water solution to clean the webbing. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry.
Avoid exposure to harsh chemicals: Harsh chemicals can damage the webbing, so it's best to avoid exposure to things like bleach, solvents, and oils.
Store properly: When not in use, store webbing in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
Repair promptly: If you notice any damage to the webbing, repair it promptly to prevent further damage and ensure its longevity.
Regularly inspect: Regularly inspect the webbing for signs of wear and tear, and replace it when necessary.
By following these steps, you can help to extend the life of your webbing and keep it in good condition.
